CFM Religion Publishing Group, LLC is a new consortium of companies whose sole focus is to bring our customers the best possible sources for lifelong faith formation. CFM is an affiliate of The Wicks Group of Companies, LLC , a New York City private equity fund that invests in selected segments of the communications, information, and media industries.

CFM stands for “Come, Follow Me”, the words Jesus used when he called his first disciples (Mark 1:17). We wish to create synergies among a variety of companies, each of whose mission is to follow that invitation of Jesus today. We are a family of Christian publishers. Each company will operate independently and maintain its unique theological perspective and tradition even as it contributes its own publishing know-how for the benefit of the group.

CFM’s first acquisition in 2006 was Standard Publishing, a non-denominational Christian producer of Bible-based church resources since 1866. Through the years Standard has been known for providing innovative resources for churches interested in sound Bible teaching. Today the company has its eyes on the future, with its mission to provide true-to-the-Bible church resources that inspire, educate, and motivate. Standard Publishing is located in Cincinnati, Ohio, also the site of CFM’s corporate offices.

Recently, CFM acquired RCL - Resources for Christian Living as well as the Benziger product line from McGraw-Hill Education and combined them to form RCL Benziger Publishing, with a mission to create resources faithful to the Gospel and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church that are innovative and connect faith with life. RCL, founded by Richard C. Leach in Chicago, and Benziger, begun by Joseph Benziger in Zurich, Switzerland, have over 250 years of combined experience and dedication to serving the Catholic community. RCL Benziger publishes curriculum resources for lifelong faith formation, with programs designed for use in preschool, elementary, junior high, high school, and adult faith formation. RCL Benziger is located in Allen, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.
